COVID-19 SHOW CANCELLATION
As of 13th May 2020 the Suffolk Five Rivers Committee has made the unanimous decision to cancel the 2020 Five Rivers show which was due to take place on 26/27th September.
The health and safety of competitors, show organisers, traders and everyone else involved is of upmost importance.

Agility tests both the Dog and Handlers ability to communicate clearly and quickly with one another whilst maintaining control and obedience. Courses comprises of several items of equipment including jumps, weaving poles and seesaws. The end objective should you wish to compete is to complete the course without faults in the fastest time, and of course, WIN!
Members find Agility a rewarding and valuable form of training for them and their dogs. Helping to improve general day to day activities with your dog from sit and wait through to distance handling.
At Suffolk Five Rivers Agility Club we pride ourselves in offering great agility training, a safe environment for your dog and, most importantly, fun for the both of you!
Based at Orwell Arena near Ipswich our indoor facilities offer top notch training and friendly members. All training sessions are held indoors providing a safe and controlled environment for those new to Agility and a great place to train in our unpredictable British climate!!
Suffolk Five Rivers Agility Club is open to all abilities and all dogs; from Lurchers to Papillons, Collies to Terriers and every breed inbetween. We have been running as a club since the 1980s so there is plenty of experience and knowledge available.
WHAT WE DO
Our 5 week induction classes take you and your dog through the basics of agility in a safe and fun environment. You'll learn how to work on each piece of equipment and be given guidance by trainers on the best homework for you and your dog to enhance the training.
Mondays 7:30 - 9:00pm
Following on from the induction or if you have some experience of agility, our improver classes are prefect for improving your ability, confidence and skills. You will train with others of a similar experience level and whether you're looking to compete or train for fun our trainers will be on hand to help.

Our advanced classes are perfect for experienced handlers looking to hone their skills and push themselves with more complicated courses. These classes are great for those looking to start or already competing. You will train with like-minded people who are always on hand to help alongside and support the trainer's instruction.
Wednesdays 7:30 - 9:00pm
Our Induction Class starting 20th April 2020 is now fully booked. Watch this space for the next available induction class or send us a message to be put on the waiting list. Dogs must be at least 12 months old.
